Hunter-Specific Innovations

1. Pet Management System (Beast Mastery)

First complete pet AI system in template architecture:

  • Auto-summoning on combat start
  • Health monitoring and resurrection
  • Command system (Attack/Follow/Stay)

Template system now supports cast-time abilities:

  • Movement cancellation detection
  • Cast queue management
  • Instant vs channeled ability distinction
  • Reusable for Mage, Warlock, Priest casters

3. Melee/Ranged Hybrid (Survival)

First spec to override default ranged positioning:

  • Melee range preference (5.0f)
