- QUEST_ACCEPTED: Initializes quest tracking, updates atomic counters, shares with group
- QUEST_COMPLETED: Marks objectives complete, queues for turn-in
- QUEST_TURNED_IN: Calculates quest time, updates statistics, removes from tracking
- QUEST_ABANDONED: Adds to ignore list, updates counters, prevents re-acceptance
- QUEST_FAILED: Increments retry counter, ignores after 3 failures
- QUEST_STATUS_CHANGED: Forces cache update, checks completion status
- QUEST_OBJECTIVE_COMPLETE: Recalculates completion percentage
- QUEST_OBJECTIVE_PROGRESS: Updates tracking timestamps
- QUEST_ITEM_COLLECTED: Updates item objectives, checks completion
- QUEST_CREATURE_KILLED: Updates kill objectives, tracks progress
- QUEST_EXPLORATION: Marks exploration objectives complete
- QUEST_REWARD_RECEIVED: Tracks gold/XP rewards, daily/dungeon quest stats
- QUEST_REWARD_CHOSEN: Logs reward selection for learning
- QUEST_EXPERIENCE_GAINED: Updates total XP statistics
- QUEST_REPUTATION_GAINED: Tracks reputation gains
- QUEST_CHAIN_ADVANCED: Prioritizes next quest in chain
Key Features:
- Full quest progress tracking with completion percentages
- Atomic state flags for thread-safe queries
- Statistical tracking for quest completion times
- Intelligent quest abandonment after failures
- Group quest sharing integration
- Quest chain continuation support
2. TradeManager Event Handlers (11 Events)
File: src/modules/Playerbot/Social/TradeManager_Events.cpp
Implemented Event Handlers:
- TRADE_INITIATED: Creates trade session, determines security level, validates trader
- TRADE_ACCEPTED: Completes trade, updates statistics, processes completion
- TRADE_CANCELLED: Handles cancellation reason, updates stats, resets session
- TRADE_ITEM_ADDED: Tracks items in trade, validates security, estimates values
- TRADE_GOLD_ADDED: Updates gold amounts, validates amounts, checks for scams
- GOLD_RECEIVED: Updates statistics, checks gold thresholds
- GOLD_SPENT: Monitors remaining gold, sets supply needs flags
- LOW_GOLD_WARNING: Triggers gold-earning priorities, critical warnings
- VENDOR_PURCHASE: Tracks spending, monitors consumable purchases
- VENDOR_SALE: Tracks income from sales
- REPAIR_COST: Clears repair flag, tracks maintenance costs
Key Features:
- Multi-level security system (None/Basic/Standard/Strict)
- Trade whitelist/blacklist management
- Scam detection and prevention
- Trade value estimation and validation
- Atomic state flags for trading status
- Comprehensive trade statistics tracking
3. AuctionManager Event Handlers (5 Events)
File: src/modules/Playerbot/Economy/AuctionManager_Events.cpp
Implemented Event Handlers:
- AUCTION_BID_PLACED: Tracks bid placement, calculates flip opportunities, updates market data
- AUCTION_WON: Processes won auctions, schedules relisting for profit, updates price history
- AUCTION_OUTBID: Evaluates rebid decisions, calculates profit margins, removes lost bids
- AUCTION_EXPIRED: Analyzes failure reasons, adjusts pricing strategy, schedules relisting
- AUCTION_SOLD: Calculates actual profit, updates success rates, learns from profitable sales
Key Features:
- Market maker mode with flip opportunity detection
- Dynamic pricing strategy adjustment
- Profit/loss tracking with AH cut calculations
- Price history and market trend analysis
- Thread-safe with mutex protection
- Atomic counters for active auction tracking
Technical Implementation Details
Performance Optimizations
- Sub-1ms execution: All handlers include performance measurement
- Early exit patterns: Quick returns for non-relevant events
- Atomic operations: Lock-free state queries for high-frequency checks
- Efficient data structures: Unordered maps for O(1) lookups
Thread Safety
- Atomic flags:
_hasActiveQuests,_isTradingActive,_hasActiveAuctions - Mutex protection: AuctionManager uses mutex for market data
- Memory ordering: Proper acquire/release semantics
Error Handling
- Exception safety: Try-catch blocks in all event handlers
- Data validation: Checks for null pointers and invalid data
- Graceful degradation: Falls back to string parsing if typed data fails
Integration Points
- Event System: Full integration with BotEvent and EventDispatcher
- BehaviorManager: All managers inherit update throttling
- Statistics: Comprehensive tracking for analysis and learning
- Logging: Debug and error logging with appropriate levels
